Paula Haywood
My name is Paula Haywood, currently a Chaplain , in Columbus, Ohio. She has served as a 34 year employee in Hennepin County, working in Corrections and Social Work. Paula is a proud mother of three daughters and 12 blessed grandchildren. She is an ordained Baptist’s Minister who grew up in Minnespolis and born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Kevin Lewis Jr.
My name is Kevin DaJuan Lewis Jr. and I am a father, husband, brother, and son. I work part time as a community ministry director at my local church and full time as a chemical engineer. I grew up without a father and was raised by my single mother and grandparents who ran a foster home. I learned sacrificial love through my family and ultimately through Jesus Christ and that has inspired me to be a living sacrifice for others.

My name is Diane Napper. I am a Graphic Designer living in Minneapolis, MN, and started my business in 2002. I grew up in Philadelphia, PA, with two loving parents and three siblings. Our parents instilled faith in God, love of family and the need for a good education in all of us. They also let us know that we could be and do anything we set our minds to, regardless of our race. Despite some challenging times in my life, the love and support of my parents, and my faith in God, have helped me persevere. I am truly blessed and grateful for all that I am and all that I have.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, what was evident then and now is the role of family, school, church and a focused inner circle positively play in navigating through the opportunities and issues life has provided and continues to provide.
Kieshia Bryant
Her grandfather was a share cropper and her father was raised in a small segregated town in North Carolina. Her parents divorced when she was young and half of her childhood was spent being raised in a single parent household. From living in a shelter with no place to go as a child to having a real estate portfolio today, she has a unique perspective to convey the TakeCharge message of inspiring black and other minority communities to take charge of their own lives.
